SUCCESS OR FAILURE

Hello again and welcome to a new blog, this time it will be a pretty much short one, where we will be discussing whether Nike's campaign succeeded or failed... Well, it would be pretty hard to find any statistics on the internet regarding this specific campaign in Australia with info about their sales increasing or anything like that, so I came up with the idea of using YouTube as our parameter of success, BUT before anything, today you can find the last video of this campaign at the end of this blog so you can watch it after reading, or before, or never.. its really up to you. NOW, as it can be seen on Nike Australia YouTube account, they have a total of 7.805 subscribers to this day and a total of 189 videos. The first video they posted of this campaign has a total of 5.757 views, which is less than their total subscribers meaning that it didn't cause a big impact on the network giving hints of a maybe possible failure. The second video made a much bigger impact reaching a total of 366.640 views which I would say is a huge success, because apart from the 7.805 people who received a notification on their phones inciting them to watch the video, this means that a total of 358.835 people either found the video on YouTube, appeared somewhere or someone showed it to them and can be read as a huge success. Finally, the video posted on this blog reached a bit less than the second one, having a total of 316.907 views. In general I think that reaching such a big amount of views having such a little amount of subscribers can be described as a huge success on the YouTube industries. I'm really sorry I can't talk to you guys about the success their billboards ads had, but I'm sure it was somewhat similar to those statistics.

See you all around anytime soon!
