JUST DO IT
Hey everyone, Benjamin back with a new blog, but this time we will be discussing the types of media Nike used to promote their campaign and how relevant and effective each of them is. Ok so, I've been trying to find every type of media Nike has used to promote their campaign "Just do it", but so far I've only found 2: Billboards and Digital media (More specifically, YouTube). Although there is no evidence both campaigns (YouTube videos and Billboards) are related, I'm going to write about both because they were released on the same lapse of time and both are making use of the slogan "Just do it". Well, first of all I took some pictures (which everyone of you will be able find through my next blogs because posting all of them in this one would be boring, only for the HYPEE!) in the bus stops where I could find it was placed so that you can have a more clear idea of how they look like when I talk about them (Sadly, I couldn't manage to take any picture to a few more I saw in Darling harbour, which looked a bit more controversial by making office jobs look like a common, regular, boring thing). Now, the ad you can see below doesn't seem to be much interesting, thus probably it won't attract as many customers as Nike would like to, but on the other hand, the videos are sending a clear message while at the same moment they entertain the viewer, only because of this I would say that videos are more relevant than the billboards and were designed to look more appealing to customers, and they are probably the core part of this campaign (Tbh, as a regular customer of Nike I think they should be making videos constantly because they show the true essence of the brand and are far more appealing than a common and regular billboard ad). Well everyone, I don't have much more to say about this topic so I will leave the second video I found from the campaign so that you can entertain a bit after reading my blog.
Cheers!
